Research

The Chair of Electron Devices (LEB) has been engaged in applied research in the fields of technology and manufacturing of electronic components for 30 years. Until a few years ago, the focus was on the development, characterization, and simulation of individual processes as well as the investigation of materials for micro- and nanoelectronics.

The research activities of the Chair of Electron Devices are divided into the “Semiconductor Devices” working group led by Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Jörg Schulze and the “Nitride Semiconductors” working group led by Dr. Saskia Schimmel.
