2nd LEB Strategy Retreat

For the second time, the team from the Chair of Electron Devices met at the research campus in Waischenfeld for its annual strategy retreat. This time, in addition to the research staff, the meeting was also attended by support staff from administration, technical services and infrastructure. Under the guiding question, “Has the LEB, with Prof. Schulze as Chair, managed to establish its own profile over the last five years that sets it apart from Fraunhofer IISB?”, two days were spent meticulously working on the topics of “Collaboration”, “Data and Knowledge”, “Research” and “Teaching”, both in small groups and in plenary sessions.

This has now resulted in a follow-up list, which will be jointly implemented over the coming year to take our day-to-day work, research and teaching to a new level. At the end of the 2nd LEB strategy retreat, we also reached a consensus on our key question: Yes, the Chair has developed its own distinct profile over the last five years, but this can be further expanded and refined.
