The chair\u2019s research focuses on the development, characterization, and simulation of new manufacturing processes and components, as well as the development and optimization of equipment and materials for micro- and nanoelectronics.<br><br>The LEB has long-standing, close scientific and personal ties with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iisb.fraunhofer.de\/\">Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Systems and Device Technology IISB<\/a>. Both institutions are headed by Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil.
